Visual Effects Society یا همان VES امسال برای دوازدهمین بار مراسم VES Awards را برگزار کرد. هر سال این مراسم که بزرگترین مراسم و جایزه در صنعت جلو‌های ویژه سینما به حساب می‌‌آید در ماه فوریه برگزار میشود که امسال نیز این مراسم به بهترین شکل و با حضور بهترین فیلم‌ها ، انیمیشن‌ها ، سریال‌های تلویزیونی ، تبلیغات تلویزیونی و بازی‌های کامپیوتری در ۲۴ رشته و باحضور ۱۰۰۰ مهمان برگزار شد مجری برنامهٔ امسال Patton Oswalt بود که از Commedian های آمریکا به حساب می‌‌آید.
